Recently we have received Artist Updates of past winners of the Dalwood Wylie Aamerican Institute of Musical Studies & AIMS Sundell Awards.

Livia Brash – soprano (2017)
In 2018 Livia has toured Australia singing Rosina in The Barber of Seville and sang Alcina as a Professional Fellow for the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival which she won in 2017 from the JSRB Bel Canto Competition. In 2019 Livia will be singing with the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, and attending the Solti Accademia.

Anna-Louise Cole – soprano (2008) & Vienna State Opera Award (2016)
Anna-Louise is currently a member of Opera Australia’s Moffat Oxenbould Young Artist program. In 2017 she understudied the title role in Aida and Praskovia Osipovna / Bagel Seller / Presenter in Shostakovich’s The Nose. In 2018 she will understudy the title roles in both Turandot and Salome.

Alexandra Flood – soprano (2013)
Alexandra Flood is enjoying a successful career and is one of today’s Finalists. Alexandra made her debut as a young artist at the Salzburg Festival and has since appeared as Blonde, Musetta, Norina, Violetta, Vixen Sharp Ears, Serpetta, Jemmy, Valencienne and Maria among others, and performs regularly in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Russia, Norway, the US and Australia.

Janet Todd – soprano (2010)
Janet is currently based in California and has been working on New Music projects, including a new opera called The Place Where You Started by an LA based composer, as well as an opera film/comic new opera by a young New York City composer. Janet returns to the Australian stage regularly with a variety of organisations including with Pinchgut, Sydney Philharmonia. Janet has recently returned from Columbus, Ohio after singing Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly with Opera Columbus.
